I am Muhammad Choirul Amri but I go by Choirul. I am an IT professional, writer, and IT community enthusiast. My main community activity is as Co-Founder of IlmuKomputer.Com , which is the largest IT elearning portal in Indonesia. I involved with INDC as one of the group leaders.
I established SQL Server User Group Indonesia, which is also an official PASS Chapter and member of Culminis alliance.        

My main interest and research are ASP.NET, SQL Server, ERP System, Business Intelligence, and Information Worker collaboration platform. I received Most Valuable Professional (MVP) award from Microsoft in ASP.NET since 2005. You can read my MVP profile here. I’m currently working as a Senior Consultant Trainer for Avantus Singapore, teaching various Microsoft developer technologies.

My Bachelor Degree is in industrial Engineering, respectively from Advanced School of Telecommunication (STT Telkom) - Bandung in 1998. I used to be a Sales Engineer and Production Control staff before landed in IT job. In the past, I have played with Windows NT, Win 2000/2003 Server, Linux, firewall, proxy, mail server, and any networking stuffs. I’m happy call myself as a developer now.
